Te Ahurea is closed for the Winter and reopens on 26 October 2024 (Labour Weekend). However, we will be opening during all school holidays.

The Living Village

Te Ahurea sits in one of the most significantly important historical sites in New Zealand for Māori and early European settlement.

Situated in the picturesque Kerikeri basin alongside historic Kororipo Pā (Hongi Hika’s fortified enclosure) the Kerikeri Stone Store, and Mission House, Te Ahurea is an interactive pā site that will transport you back in time
